Chat, call and pay your bills in one app.
Airtime, data, DSTV, electricity and exam pins — settled from the same naira wallet you use to send money to friends, without ever leaving the conversation.
No subscription. Fees shown before you confirm, never after.
Everyday bills, sorted
Six things Nigerians pay for constantly, all settled from your PopnChat wallet in a few taps.

One balance behind everything
Fund your wallet once and it powers every payment in the app — no re-entering card details for each bill, no bouncing between your bank app and everything else.
- Send and receive instantly, by phone number or QR code
- Withdraw to your bank whenever you want
- A full transaction history you can search
- The amount and fee are shown before your PIN

Still a messenger, first
PopnChat started as a chat app and still is one. Pin, mute, lock and archive your chats, build groups and communities, follow channels — then pay someone in the same breath.
- One-to-one and group chats, media, documents and reactions
- Voice and video calls, one person or a whole group
- Stories that disappear after 24 hours
- Social feed, events, travel, jobs and fundraising
Built like a money app
Chat apps and payment apps are held to very different standards. PopnChat is held to the payment one.
NIN/BVN verification
Identity tiers that follow Nigerian requirements, with limits that rise as you verify.
A separate transaction PIN
Every movement of money needs it, and it is not your login password.
Biometric sign-in
Fingerprint or face unlock on devices that support it.
One active session
Signing in somewhere new signs the other device out.
Nothing moves silently
Every transfer, bill and top-up is written to a record you can review.
Confirm before you pay
The rate, the fee and the final amount are shown before anything leaves your balance.
Frequently asked
Is PopnChat free to use?
Yes. Downloading PopnChat and using chat, calls, groups and stories is free. Some financial services carry a transaction fee, and the fee is always shown before you confirm — never after.
Which bills can I pay on PopnChat?
Airtime and data on MTN, Glo, Airtel and 9mobile; DSTV, GOTV, Startimes and Showmax subscriptions; electricity for prepaid and postpaid meters; and WAEC and JAMB exam pins. You can also buy and trade gift cards.
How do I add money to my wallet?
Fund your wallet by card or bank transfer through the payment providers built into the app. Once funded, the balance covers every payment in PopnChat without re-entering your details each time.
Do I need to verify my identity?
You can start with basic details, but Nigerian financial rules tie wallet balance and daily spending limits to how far you have verified. Completing NIN and BVN verification raises those limits and unlocks withdrawals at higher amounts.
Is my money safe?
Money in your wallet is protected by a transaction PIN that is separate from your login, and biometric sign-in is available on supported devices. Every movement of money is recorded in a transaction history you can review.
Can I use PopnChat without a phone?
Yes. There is a web version at app.popnchats.com with the same account, so your chats and wallet follow you between your phone and your browser.
Which devices does PopnChat support?
PopnChat is available for Android on Google Play, and in any modern browser through the web app. Your account works across both.
Can I send money to someone who isn't on PopnChat yet?
You can share a payment link or QR code with anyone. They will be prompted to join PopnChat to receive the money into their own wallet, which they can then withdraw to their bank.
